Steve Evans the signwriter has been busy adorning Steadfast with her name and registration number and a little something in a nod to her engine.   Meanwhile other busy hands have been bolting Steadfast back together adding fairleads and T Studs and slides and mushroom vents.

Another post from my Pit

Well the latest photos have arrived down under and it is time to post another blog update from my Pit at the back of a van.
Steadfast is now being bolted back together and the signing started. It is all getting too exciting!

Through the magic of the www Sarah Edgson has sent me the latest photos of Steadfast's transformation.

The hand rail has been painted in LMS red and then masked for the next colour.

Swan neck painted red and subsequently masked.

There has been a bit of a hiatus over the recent holiday period with a two week shut down at Norton Canes Boat Builders giving all the staff a decent break from their labours but as of last week they were back at it.  On Tuesday Joe and I drove up to Tamworth to see Steadfast and sort some stage payments with Sarah Edgson.
 Ginge and teammates, Tash and Juke, were busy getting the last of the dodgy paint off of Steady when we arrived. They were anticipating starting to get primer coats on her from Wednesday and this morning Sarah E sent through some photo’s of their progress.
