We're Out!

Joe and I travelled up to Glascote Basin yesterday morning to retrieve Steadfast and return her to her home mooring.  The final payment was made for all the work we have had done, Joe drove to Hatherton and 'dumped' our car and Ginge the paint sprayer gave him a lift back in her Purple Landover.
To sum up we have had complete respray, new cratch board and replacement screen, cleaned and repainted water tank, stern gland stuffed, automated bilge pump fitted, sign painting and a solar panel fitted.

We left the Basin this morning and headed off down the Glascote locks towards Fradley in a dreich weather stopping at Hopwas after barely four miles and calling it a day.

We have the power!

The latest update from Sarah Edgson at Norton Canes Boatbuilders was received here in Australia this morning..Steadfast has had her solar panel fitted!!

Out!

Steadfast has been ousted from the paint dock and another boat has taken her place. Sarah E sent me a couple of photos before Steady left the confines of the dock.

Steve Evans the signwriter has been busy adorning Steadfast with her name and registration number and a little something in a nod to her engine.   Meanwhile other busy hands have been bolting Steadfast back together adding fairleads and T Studs and slides and mushroom vents.

Well the latest photos have arrived down under and it is time to post another blog update from my Pit at the back of a van.
Steadfast is now being bolted back together and the signing started. It is all getting too exciting!
